When I first saw the portrait painting of Caesar done by Sunil, I was stunned by the beauty of artwork. Every fine detail of the face and expression have been captured so well. Love this. Thanks

Rafa’s sunray-highlighted golden fur was beautifully captured by Sunil. But besides the careful use of the right colours and strokes, Sunil’s brush also seems to have been loaded with love for animals.
Thanks Sunil, for this beautiful portrait

"Rich Brushstrokes Of Happiness"

Roshanara Begum
“Sunil makes things very difficult for us. We try, but it is not easy to remain humble when you realise the effort, a reaching out without agenda or motive. For our minds permanently conditioned to be suspicious and cynical, this heartfelt approach takes some getting used to. It is not an easy transition, it sits uncomfortably.
Then, vanity comes once you see the result. But also, when it comes, you inwardly marvel at the process, the oil tubefuls of love, the rich brushstrokes of happiness and his eagerness to share and spread it.
Dwell on Roshu’s eyes in the portrait, that knowing twinkle in them, limpid pools of wisdom and foolishness in equal measure. That ‘just about’ raised eyebrow, her signature. Observe the detail, possessiveness for her half-chewed tennis ball, and that little birdie intruding her space. Like all other non-human members of her kingdom, the Cinererous tit is not a friend, at best tolerated as a migratory intrusion.
How do you make the world’s most photogenic dog even more alluring, give it a forever dimension? Sunil managed the impossible with Roshanara and has made life difficult for all of us. Not done.”
